Designed by Cognitive Skills Trainer
For brains that like to think digitally.
The NeuroMythical Stylus-Ready Planner is a full 12-month ADHD planning system designed for PDF annotation apps like Goodnotes, Notability, and Xodo.
If you've bought digital planners before and watched them sit untouched in your Downloads folder, you're not alone: this planner was designed for you.
🤓 Why this works for ADHD
1) Rewards are built into goal-setting.
→ Knowing you "should" do something usually isn't enough to start. Reward is the bridge from intention to action.
2) Pre-planning around obstacles helps prevent shutting down.
→ Most planning doesn't fail at goal-setting. It fails when something goes wrong and there's no backup plan.
3) The "why" stays visible.
→ Connection to motivation is hard to hold onto with ADHD. Writing it down each week keeps it in front of you.
4) Larger time blocks have built-in forgiveness.
→ The flexibility is the design. A 9 a.m. task that doesn't happen until 11 still lands in the morning block, and the rest of your day stays put.
5) Partial progress matches how habits actually form.
→ Research shows missing a day doesn't affect habit formation. All-or-nothing thinking does.
6) Reusing the same prompts each month surfaces patterns over time.
→ You start to see what works for you and what doesn't.
🔄 The System
• SMART-R Goals
→ SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-bound), plus Reward.
• Action Plans with Obstacle Planning
→ Space to break goals into steps, plus space to think through what's likely to get in the way.
• 5 Weekly Spreads per month which include:
→ Morning, Afternoon, and Evening time blocks, instead of an hourly grid that falls apart by lunch.
→ Your top 3 priorities for the week, pulled from your monthly goals.
→ The "why" behind each priority. Motivation in writing, where you can see it.
→ Mini obstacle check-in. What could derail the week, plus your plan if it does.
• Daily Habit Tracker
→ Space to track 3 habits, every week.
→ Create your own key (Printable and Stylus-ready planners) or simply click-to-fill (Fillable planners)
• Weekly Mood Tracker
→ One check-in per week. Doubles as a reference point during monthly reflections.
• Monthly Reflection
→ Wins, challenges, eureka moments, goal progress, next-month focus.
📱 Stylus-ready Format (for iPads and Tablets)
• Designed for handwritten annotation in iPad/tablet apps — Goodnotes, Notability, and Xodo
• Fully hyperlinked throughout — jump to any month, week, or section instantly
• On-page tabs for quick navigation
• Two visual styles included:
→ Vibrant — unique monthly gradient along the page edges, with color-coordinated tabs for each month
→ Minimalist — clean, no gradient

🦄 About NeuroMythical
Hi, I'm Katie, the person behind the NeuroMythical Planner.
I have a B.S. in Psychology and spent four years as a Cognitive Skills Trainer, helping adults, teens, and kids build skills like attention, memory, executive function, and time management.
At 26 I was diagnosed with ADHD, and a lot of things suddenly made sense. Why being on time was so hard. Why boring tasks felt impossible. Why conforming to social norms drained me. Why I never felt "together" the way everyone else seemed to. I wasn't lazy; I was wired differently.
The NeuroMythical Planner came out of that. It uses the tools I relied on with my students and still rely on myself, built to support how ADHD brains plan.
🚀 Getting Started
This planner comes with a Quick Start Guide that shows you exactly what to do.
The guide includes screenshot-by-screenshot instructions for:
→ Unzipping the files
→ Opening the planner in Goodnotes, Notability, or Xodo
→ Learning the basics of navigation and annotation
Start planning in 5 minutes or less!
🤔 Common Questions
Q: Do I need a tablet?
A: Yes — The Stylus-Ready Planner is designed for stylus-based handwriting on a tablet or iPad. If you'd rather type on a PC or Mac, the Fillable Planner is in my shop and uses the same planning system through typed fields and click-to-fill.
Q: What app do I need?
A: You'll need an annotation app where you write directly on the PDF. Goodnotes, Notability, and Xodo are the three covered in the Quick Start Guide. If you already use one of those apps, you're ready to go!
Note: if you're new to annotation apps, I strongly recommend downloading and testing out a few before spending money on a digital planner. If you don't like using the app, you probably won't like using the planner!
Q: Do I need to pay for the apps that are compatible with these planners?
A: These apps do offer subscriptions, but those are for extra features/storage space and aren't necessary for you to use your planner.
Q: Will the setup actually be straightforward?
A: The Quick Start Guides were written because setup is the biggest hurdle for digital planners. It walks through every step with screenshots: opening the file, importing it to your app, and getting started with navigation.
iPads and tablets each get their own guide since there are functional differences between the two.
And if you do get stuck, I'm just a message away!
Q: What do I use for the habit tracker?
A: The planner includes the same key used across all NeuroMythical formats — nailed it, almost, not today. Since you're working in an annotation app, how you mark each day is up to you.
Q: Will I actually stick with this?
A: This planner is designed to be easy to start AND return to.
The undated format means you're not locked into a calendar year. The habit tracker counts partial progress, and the monthly reflection gives you a structured reset point every month.
And if a week (or month) goes sideways, there's no guilt about ghosting your planner; just move to a fresh week, or a new month, or download another copy. You can reuse your planner as many times as you'd like!
Q: Is the system too complicated?
A: Every section has a specific job to do and a clear place in the monthly loop. Buyers consistently describe the layout as calm and clear, and that was very much the intention.
If you want to see the pages before you buy, the listing images show real spreads with examples filled in. You can also message me with any questions.
Q: Can I return this if I change my mind?
A: Due to the nature of digital items, this planner is final sale. But I'm happy to help you get set up or troubleshoot — just send me a message!
Q: What if I want more than one format?
A: Yes! The Digital Bundle (Fillable, Stylus-Ready, and Printable — all three Quick Start Guides included) is available for $19.99.
If you want both the Hardcover Planner and the Digital Bundle, the Complete Bundle is available for $54.99.
