Designed by Cognitive Skills Trainer

One planner in every digital format.

The NeuroMythical Planner is a 12-month ADHD planning system designed around the specific ways planning tends to break down.

If you've tried planners before and eventually drifted away from them, you're not alone, and it's probably not a willpower problem.

🤓 Why this works for ADHD

1) Rewards are built into goal-setting.
→ Knowing you "should" do something usually isn't enough to start. Reward is the bridge from intention to action.

2) Pre-planning around obstacles helps prevent shutting down.
→ Most planning doesn't fail at goal-setting. It fails when something goes wrong and there's no backup plan.

3) The "why" stays visible.
→ Connection to motivation is hard to hold onto with ADHD. Writing it down each week keeps it in front of you.

4) Larger time blocks have built-in forgiveness.
→ The flexibility is the design. A 9 a.m. task that doesn't happen until 11 still lands in the morning block, and the rest of your day stays put.

5) Partial progress matches how habits actually form.
→ Research shows missing a day doesn't affect habit formation. All-or-nothing thinking does.

6) Reusing the same prompts each month surfaces patterns over time.
→ You start to see what works for you and what doesn't.

🔄 The System

SMART-R Goals
→ SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-bound), plus Reward.

Action Plans with Obstacle Planning
→ Space to break goals into steps, plus space to think through what's likely to get in the way.

5 Weekly Spreads per month which include:

→ Morning, Afternoon, and Evening time blocks, instead of an hourly grid that falls apart by lunch.

→ Your top 3 priorities for the week, pulled from your monthly goals.

→ The "why" behind each priority. Motivation in writing, where you can see it.

→ Mini obstacle check-in. What could derail the week, plus your plan if it does.

Daily Habit Tracker
→ Space to track 3 habits, every week.
→ Create your own key (Printable and Stylus-ready planners) or simply click-to-fill (Fillable planners)

Weekly Mood Tracker
→ One check-in per week. Doubles as a reference point during monthly reflections.

Monthly Reflection
→ Wins, challenges, eureka moments, goal progress, next-month focus.

📚 Formats

• Stylus PDFs for handwriting, doodling and digital stickers 📱

• Fillable PDFs for typing, click-to-fill, click-to-circle, and no-limit fields 💻

• Printable PDFs for DIY and customization 📄

🦄 About NeuroMythical

Hi, I'm Katie, the person behind the NeuroMythical Planner.

I have a B.S. in Psychology and spent four years as a Cognitive Skills Trainer, helping adults, teens, and kids build skills like attention, memory, executive function, and time management.

At 26 I was diagnosed with ADHD, and a lot of things suddenly made sense. Why being on time was so hard. Why boring tasks felt impossible. Why conforming to social norms drained me. Why I never felt "together" the way everyone else seemed to. I wasn't lazy; I was wired differently.

The NeuroMythical Planner came out of that. It uses the tools I relied on with my students and still rely on myself, built to support how ADHD brains plan.

🤔 Common Questions

Q: Do I need to pay for the apps that are compatible with these planners?

A: It depends on the app you decide to use, but generally, no. Although subscriptions are available, those are for extra features/storage space that aren't required for you to use your planner.

Q: What apps do I need to use these planners?

A: The Fillable planner needs Adobe Acrobat for desktop for click-to-circle and click-to-fill functionality. You can download and use it for free!

The Stylus-ready planner has been tested and confirmed to work in Xodo, GoodNotes, and Notability. Other PDF annotation apps are likely compatible, but I can only guarantee compatibility in the apps I’ve tested.

The printable planner can be printed from any PDF reader. I use Adobe Acrobat, but you could also print from Foxit, Google Drive, etc.

Q: Is the system complicated?

A: It's designed to be intuitive! If you're comfortable editing a word document, then you'll likely be comfortable using the Fillable and Printable planners.

If you use tablets/iPads often, especially with a stylus, then the Stylus-ready planner will likely feel second nature.

I'm also happy to answer any questions or help troubleshoot — just send me a message!

Q: Will I actually use this?

A: These planners are designed to be easy to start AND return to.

The undated format means you're not locked into a calendar year. The habit tracker counts partial progress, and the monthly reflection gives you a structured reset point every month.

If a week (or month) goes sideways, there's no guilt about ghosting your planner; just move to a new month, open a fresh copy, or print the page(s) you need. You can reuse your planners as many times as you'd like!

Q: What's the blue highlight thing?

A: Fillable PDF fields show up with a blue background by default in Adobe, but this can easily be switched off. The Quick Start Guide shows you exactly where to find it so the planner looks the way it's meant to.

Q: Can I return this if I change my mind?

A: Due to the nature of digital items, this bundle is final sale. But I'm happy to help you get set up or troubleshoot — just send me a message!

Q: What if I want the physical planner too? Do you offer bundles?

A: Yes! The Complete Bundle is available at NeuroMythical.shop*.

*Etsy doesn't currently support hybrid listings (physical and digital), otherwise the Complete Bundle would also be available in my Etsy shop.
